The Royal Bank of Scotland has appointed ANDREW MITCHELL as the regional director for the North-East's corporate banking division.
Mr Mitchell has worked for the bank for more than 15 years.
Richard Topliss, managing director of the North of England division, said: "Andrew's appointment reinforces our commitment to the North-East and reflects our confidence in the future prospects for our customers and the region in general."
Mr Mitchell said: "I am delighted to be given the opportunity to work with customers in the North-East, at what I know is a very exciting time for the region."
