THE timetable for Christmas services at a North minster has been announced.
There will be an evening service of nine lessons and carols at York Minister at 7pm tomorrow.
On Christmas Eve, there will be the popular children's crib service at noon.
Canon Peter Lyddon said: "Although we do not ask for presents, it has become traditional for children to bring gifts which are placed in the crib and then given in the communities of York and North Yorkshire in the following weeks."
The Christmas Eve service of nine lessons and carols will start at 4pm, and midnight Eucharist will start at 11.30pm.
The choir for the Eucharist will be the St William's Singers, who are all former choristers of the York Minster Choir, and all under 25.
The preacher will be the Dean of York, the Very Reverend Keith Jones.
On Christmas Day, the Archbishop of York will preach at the 10am Sung Eucharist service.
This will be last Christmas that the Most Reverend Dr David Hope will preach at the minster as archbishop.
The Dean of York will preach at Matins at 11.30am, and Evensong will be at 4pm.
The Minster Choir will sing at all the services.
