DARLINGTON striker Clyde Wijnhard claimed his seventh goal of the season yesterday without even kicking a ball.
Wijnhard has been credited with the opening goal in Quakers' 3-0 win over Leyton Orient 11 days ago.
The fifth minute strike went down as an own goal from Darlington-born defender Alan White until the Football League studied video footage sent by the club.
Replays showed that Wijnhard forced the ball over the line with his chest after White attempted to clear.
A League spokesman said: "Darlington sent us a video today and it's pretty clear that Clyde Wijnhard had the final touch."
Wijnhard is now one goal behind leading scorer Alun Armstrong.
Despite Saturday's defeat at Boston, a good crowd is expected for Sunday's clash with Rochdale at the Williamson Motors Stadium.
The club are hoping to attract more young fans by admitting under-16s for free.
From noon until 2pm, beer and lager will be £1 a pint at the Tin Shed Bar and the Corner Bar.
Parking will be free at the ground until 2pm. Fans with season tickets for the car park will have their places reserved.
Neil Wainwright will be fit after pulling out of the Boston game with flu. The former Sunderland winger was so unwell at the weekend that he had to remain on the team coach during the game.
Defender Craig Liddle is making good progress after undergoing a hernia operation. Liddle has missed Quakers' last three games and is expected to return in three weeks.
Midfielder Stephen Thomas has a similar injury and has been scheduled to return in January.
* Darlington's first-team squad are holding a club merchandise signing session at the Williamson Motors Stadium today (1.30pm).
The event is being held in the Platinum Suite and marks the official launch of the new 2005 calendar.
* Ousted Mansfield manager Keith Curle has revealed he has yet to receive official confirmation of his sacking.
Curle was dismissed on Friday following a lengthy internal inquiry into unspecified allegations. Curle said: "The League Managers' Association have been superb, and I'll continue to take their advice on this matter.''
* The Football Association will investigate the violence that blighted Sunday's Championship match between Leeds and Millwall
West Yorkshire Police made 10 arrests after the 1-1 draw at Elland Road, where riot police were called to quell fighting that broke out inside the stadium shortly after the final whistle.
There were also problems outside the ground, with reports of violence between rival supporters at Leeds railway station.
''We are making inquiries into what happened,'' confirmed an FA spokesman. ''We will speak to police about the incidents.''
''Some of the incidents appear to have occurred outside the ground, in which case they would not fall under our jurisdiction.''
