SINGERS are needed to take part in a performance at the North-East's new showpiece music venue, The Sage, in Gateshead.
Regional singing collective Sing Live North-East is looking for people to take part in the concert, performing a medley of music from movies.
Sing the Movies, to be staged next year, will involve more than 200 singers, giving a rendition of film theme and title songs.
The programme will span from the birth of the talkies in the 1920s to Star Wars - the Phantom Menace.
Sing Live, made up of singing enthusiasts, will be trained over three months by a professional voice coach, before performing with a 45-piece professional orchestra.
There are no auditions and no experience is required, although the minimum age for participants is 16.
To take part, call Linda Metcalfe on (01609) 780315.
