THREE teenage computer enthusiasts from a North-East university are swapping PCs for parachutes in the New Year when they take part in a charity skydive.
James King, 18, Craig Snowdon, 19, both from Sunderland, and Colin Atkinson, 19, of Hetton-le-Hole, County Durham, all joined as modern apprentices in the University of Sunderland's IT department, and have remained firm friends ever since.
Now they are taking a leap into the unknown for charity. They are taking part in a sponsored skydive to raise funds for Skill, a national charity dedicated to helping disabled students make the most of their learning and employment opportunities.
James, Colin and Craig plan to make their jump at the end of February.
