CREATIVE young artists have brightened up Christmas for shoppers in the Cockton Hill area of Bishop Auckland.
Cards designed and painted by pupils from Cockton Hill Infants School have filled the windows of newsagents Chribec, where owner Gillian Jones invited them to enter a competition.
Winners Corey Binks, Stuart Forrester and Brandon Hook, all aged four, visited the shop to collect their prizes.
Ms Jones said: "They all did very well. The customers have enjoyed looking at all the cards.
"We see the children coming to look in the window every night on their way home from school."
