RICHMONDSHIRE MP William Hague has been presented with a report on the economic development of the A1 corridor area of North Yorkshire.
The study was commission by the A1 Community Investment Pact (CIP) and supported by North Yorkshire County Council and Yorkshire Forward.
It gives suggestions on how businesses and the voluntary sector can work together to achieve a sustainable local economy.
Mr Hague was presented with the report by the group's chairwoman Melva Steckles
"The potential of this area for jobs, tourism and businesses is excellent," said Mr Hague. "I hope everyone locally will support this expanding initiative.
