HAMSTERLEY Bridge Club has been named as The Northern Echo CommuniGate Pick of the Month website for December.
The website, which was designed by club member Norman Scott, was described as an eye-catching and useful resource.
Mr Scott designed the website after taking part in one of the free four-week CommuniGate training courses that were held in Bishop Auckland, County Durham.
The site contains details of the bridge club, membership, events programme and competitions and is easy to use.
Mr Scott was presented with a Praktica V2.1 digital camera, worth £90, which was donated by Pick of the Month sponsor Sales and Marketing Services, from Darlington.
Community web editor Andrew Hutton said "Norman has done a great job on his site in a very short space of time, making it look really good and easy to navigate.
"He attended our course in November and has embraced the CommuniGate facilities very quickly since then and is a worthy winner of this month's award. Well done Norman."
