THE future of a Victorian pool is to be resolved.
The Starbeck Baths Advisory Group investigated the Harrogate swimming pool's condition after the borough council considered closing it.
Consultants found a need for major work, including on the roof and heating system.
The cost of keeping the baths open for the next 25 years was £1.7m and the consultants recommended deferring a decision and carrying out repair work to keep the baths open in the short term.
A report by advisory group members will be heard by the council's cabinet on Wednesday, after which councillors will make a decision.
