SIX children have won bags full of arts and crafts materials in a colouring competition organised by one of Darlington's shopping malls.
Youngsters who won the Queen Street Christmas contest were presented with their prizes, donated by the Stationery Box, over Christmas by Brenda Boyd, the shopping centre's public relations consultant.
The under-fives category was won by Elisha Summerson and Nikki McCabe; the five to 11-year-olds by Georgia Copeland and Elysia Parkes; and the over-11's category by Kim Brown and Gary Kirk.
Queen Street centre manager Rory Fleming said: "It was very hard to chose winners from the hundreds of excellent entries, but these children are worthy winners."
