THREE actors from the region have won roles in a British horror film.
Les Simpson, from Middlesbrough, Mark Cronsfield, from Masham, North Yorkshire, and Stephen Lamb, from Gateshead, will play cannibals in the film CrawlSpace.
All three are members of Teesside theatre group Three Over Eden, and were picked for the roles after a film director saw them perform in the region.
Filming will take place at Pinewood Studios, in Buckinghamshire, next month, where they will play creatures who are discovered by a group of cavers.
CrawlSpace is set to be released at the end of next year and is being directed by Neil Marshall, who wrote and directed the horror film Dog Soldiers in 2002.
