THEY are usually known for their love of designer clothes.
But three Darlington Football Club players - Matt Clarke, Adrian Webster and Adolfo Gregorio - and fan Chris Penman, were really given the fashion treatment when they each received a make-over as part of a BBC magazine shoot.
The group will be featuring in an edition of the magazine What to Wear, based on the popular television show hosted by Trinny Woodall and Susannah Constantine. The shoot, at the club's home, the Williamson Motors Stadium, was co-ordinated by stylist Allison McKay of Darlington.
She said: "When they said they wanted to do sports casual wear I thought why not bring it to Darlington, there's so many good-looking players in our squad and the stadium is fantastic, so we brought the shoot here.
"It's worked out really well and the lads look great."
