A WRITERS' group is celebrating a decade of putting pen to paper since it was launched as a library-run community course.
The tenth anniversary of The Write Stuff, a local writers' collective which meets weekly in Seaham, County Durham, was marked with a new publication - A Pint and 10 Straws, which is a collection of stories and poetry by group members.
It was launched recently by Seaham-born agony aunt Denise Robertson, and is available at local libraries and at Durham Tourist Information Centre, at £5 per copy.
The group, which developed from a ten-week creative writing course at Seaham Library, now meets at the town's Parkside Community Centre, each Tuesday.
