A SERIES of advice days are being held to help people in Wear Valley who have consumer problems.
The Legal Services Commission and Durham County Council are organising events throughout the district this month.
Experts will be giving free information about taking back faulty or unwanted Christmas presents, problems with mobile phone contracts and issues such as housing, homelessness, benefits and employment.
On Thursday, there will be advice days at Crook Library, from 10am to 11.30am, and at the Upper Weardale Resource Centre in Stanhope Town Hall, from 2.30pm to 4pm.
On Monday, they will take place in Willington Library from 9.30am to 11.30am; Willington Resource from 9.30am to 11.30am; Wolsingham Library from 2.30pm to 4pm, and Stanhope Community Centre from 2.30pm to 4pm.
On Tuesday, January 11, experts will be at Bishop Auckland Library from 10am to 11.30am and at Woodhouse Close Library from 10am to 11.30am.
On Monday, January 17, the team will visit Wolsingham Library from 2.30pm to 4pm and Stanhope Community Centre from 2.30pm to 4pm.
On Tuesday, January 28, there will be an advice session at Crook Civic Centre from 1.30pm to 3pm.
On Friday, January 21, sessions will be held at Willington Library from 9.30am to 11.30am and at Willington Resource from 9.30am to 11.30am.
The last advice sessions will take place on Monday, January 24, at Wolsingham Library from 2.30pm to 4pm and Stanhope Community Centre from 2.30pm to 4pm.
