DARLINGTON duo Adrian Webster and Adolfo Gregorio will sit down with manager David Hodgson next week to discuss their futures at the Williamson Motors Stadium.
Hodgson has already hinted that the midfield pair will be rewarded with extensions to their current deals, which expire later this month.
The Quakers boss has been suitably impressed with the impact both have made since earning short-term contracts following successful trials at the beginning of the season.
"You have to give both lads a lot of credit for the way they have performed," said Hodgson. "They've had to wait for their chances but they've done very well in the games they've played."
Their current deals expire after Quakers' clash with Northampton Town on January 15 and Hodgson said: "Being on short-term contracts, they've both had everything to play for. Now that those deals are almost up I will have to make a decision soon."
After starting Quakers' last nine games, New Zealand-born Webster appears to have done enough to warrant a longer deal. The former Charlton midfielder recovered from a serious knee injury during the summer.
Californian Gregorio, who turned down a move to Major League Soccer with Colorado Rapids during the summer, has started 11 games this season and will be hopeful of an extension.
Webster and Gregorio are likely to keep their places for Saturday's visit of Oxford United.
However, Hodgson must asses the fitness of Neil Wainwright and Alun Armstrong. Wainwright took a knock on the ribs against Macclesfield, while Armstrong was left on the bench with a groin problem.
Defender Curtis Fleming will be fit after recovering from a calf strain, along with former Middlesbrough teammate Craig Hignett, who played against Macclesfield with a virus.
Hodgson will be boosted by the return of Brian Close at the weekend, after the Irishman served a one-match ban against Macclesfield.
Skipper Craig Liddle is scheduled to return in a fortnight. Liddle has missed the last seven games after undergoing a double hernia operation.
David McGurk (knee) and Stephen Thomas (hernia) are making good progress and are likely to be available before the end of the month.
