A WOMAN has agreed to have breast surgery live on TV's This Morning programme.

Lyndsay Sanderson, 22, will be interviewed by ITV's Fern Britton and Phillip Schofield as she has a one-hour breast implant operation.

The Yarm woman said she has little or no nerves about her operation which is due to be screened on Friday, January 14.

Miss Sanderson explained that her friend is a production manager on the show and was asking for someone to try the new fast-track surgery under local anaesthetic.

"I said I'd do it straight away," she said.

"I wanted to have one anyway and my mother and my aunt have already had one. In fact everyone I know who's had a boob job has said it was one of the best things they've ever done. Not only that but the operation costs about £4,000 and I'm getting it for free."

Miss Sanderson said she is between a B and C-cup, but expects to become a D-cup size.

Miss Sanderson, a sales executive at Teesside media website company Infoserve, said her brother and some friends had tried to talk her out of it.

"They say I look fine and I am quite confident anyway. However, I want them. I used to have a bigger size until I was about 18 and started going to the gym and want to go back.

"My mum said, 'don't let it change you', but I don't think there's any danger of that. I've been on live TV before for Sky as a soccerette girl for Middlesbrough FC so I don't think I'll be fazed on the telly."

She will be briefly featured before her operation and viewers will be given live updates on how the operation is going.
