A delegation of companies from the region is hoping to win contracts in the education sector by demonstrating their latest projects at a show next week.
Thousands of companies and organisations from the education sector will visit the show in London to look at the latest technology for schools and colleges.
The six North-East companies will host a teaching with technology stand showing their systems for the education sector, including 3D games-based learning and interactive white boards.
The region's trade association for digital companies, Codeworks Connect, brought the companies together and is hosting the trade stand.
Between them, Amazing Grades, Caspian Learning, KBR, Northern Grid for Learning, Omnicom Cti and Orchid Software provide a range of products that could equip and service a school or college with most of their technological requirements.
Sophie Lee, marketing manager for Codeworks Connect, who will be part of a Connect team at the event, said: "We have commissioned a hi-tech stand to house all six exhibitors with reception and meeting areas to help ensure the best chance of success for each company.
"This is a hugely important show for all of the companies."
