YOUNG patients in Darlington Memorial Hospital's children's ward have some new companions.
Homecare Heating Supplies has donated 12 teddy bears to brighten up the ward.
Company chairman Brian Cheffings said: "Because we've had such a successful year and we've acquired the teddies from one of our suppliers, we thought it was an ideal chance to bring some extra Christmas spirit to those less fortunate than ourselves.
"The children's ward at Darlington Memorial Hospital is always a welcoming and lively place to visit. I hope all of the children make a speedy recovery."
Homecare Heating Supplies, in Valley Street, recently expanded and now has a 50-seat caf.
