Spennymoor include new signing Chris Scott in their squad when they go to Lincoln United today.
Moors, who have lost just twice in 15 games, signed the former Sunderland player from Queen of the South in midweek and, subject to international clearance coming through in time, he will be part of the squad that makes the journey south.
Manager Graeme Clark said: "We were offered him on loan, but we turned that down. We wanted to sign him on a permanent basis and eventually everybody agreed to that."
Moors are 11th in the table, just six points below the play-offs, and Clark said: "This will be a difficult game for us and I'm surprised that Lincoln are struggling.
"But there is plenty of character in our side at the moment and the players don't know when they're beaten. We want a good result to give us a boost for the cup ties coming up."
Moors are at home to Crook in the Durham Challenge Cup on Tuesday, and then are at Eastwood Town next Saturday in the FA Trophy.
Bishop Auckland are hoping to stretch their unbeaten run to three games at home to Matlock Town.
Bishops climbed off the bottom of the table on Monday, and manager Brian Honour said: "We've got something to build on and hopefully now we can get things going."
Striker Mark Sheeran returns and Bishops are hoping that on-loan striker Neil Campbell will play alongside him. Striker Chris I'Anson will have a fitness test.
Bishops are at Kendal on Tuesday for their re-arranged Presidents Cup tie.
Whitby can do their promotion hopes some good if they can beat leaders Workington at the Turnbull Ground, while Blyth are at home to Prescot Cables.
