Redcar and Cleveland College plans to extend virtual learning to key departments.
The Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) was piloted last year in the computing department and is due to be applied to other departments including travel and tourism, business studies, construction and health and social care.
A VLE includes software that manages online learning.
