TICKETS will go on sale today for a behind-the-scenes performance of Daphne du Maurier's Rebecca.
Due to overwhelming demand, the normally private dress rehearsal of the play at Newcastle's Theatre Royal will be public.
The one-off performance, when people can get a glimpse into the inner working of the theatre as stars including Nigel Havers prepare for the opening night, will take place at 2pm on Thursday, January 20.
Theatre Royal chief executive Peter Sarah said: "Dress rehearsals are normally closed to the public, so this should be an exciting event for both the audience and the performers.
The show, by award-winning producer David Pugh, premieres for a ten-day run at Newcastle before going on to London and New York.
Tickets for the dress rehearsal are £7, available on 0870 905 5060.
