FAMILIES are invited to a story-telling session to help celebrate the year of the River Tees.
The event will take place on Saturday at Yarm Library, from 10.30am, and Roseworth Library, in Stockton, from 2pm, with Chris Bostock.
There will be a free activity pack containing crafts, recommended reads, quizzes and river trails.
Claire Pratt, reader development officer for Stockton Libraries, said: "Stockton Libraries are celebrating the Year of the Tees with a creative event for all the family combining the joy of listening to stories with an opportunity to learn more about the river, which has been at the centre of life in Stockton for centuries."
Tickets are available by calling Yarm Library on (01642) 528152 or Roseworth Library on (01642) 528098. Booking is essential.
