A teenager was hurt when she was rugby tackled by a man as she walked across a car park.
Jade Snaith, 14, had been to Splash swimming pool, in Stockton, with her parents and younger brother when the attack took place.
The family, of Gleneagles Road, Middlesbrough, walked across the car park when her parents heard Jade scream.
They turned round to see the man still holding on to her legs.
Her mother, Christine, said: "We just don't understand it at all. He never tried to grab her bag or anything, he pulled her to the ground."
Her father, Ian, gave chase for more than a mile before the attacker got away. One of Jade's legs was injured in the attack.
The man was between 30 and 35 and was wearing a dark blue bomber jacket, light blue trousers and a blue baseball cap.
