THE spring edition of the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority's newspaper for residents will soon be dropping through letterboxes.
One copy will even be posted to South Korea, addressed to the National Parks Authority of Korea, after representatives spent a day in the Dales in November during a fact-finding trip.
An article about the trip is included in the newspaper, along with a photograph of the visitors with Alan Hulme, the authority's ranger services manager, at Malham Cove.
Mr Hulme said: "We thought it would be nice to send them a copy of Dales 2005 as a memento of their visit. We've made contact and we will be keeping in touch with them."
Before they left, the Korean's presented the authority chief executive David Butterworth with a tablet of Buddhist writings.
