A TEENAGER threatened to spatter police officers with Aids-infected blood and stab them when they were called to a disturbance, a court heard.
Brian Riley, 19, of Holly Crescent, Sacriston, near Chester-le-Street, also threatened to "rape their women" during the outburst on December 29.
Geoff Taylor, prosecuting, told the Consett magistratesRiley told officers he had Aids - although he does not - because he was drunk.
The court heard he had been drinking heavily and became violent following an argument with his girlfriend.
He admitted affray and causing damage to his mother's car when he cracked the windscreen in anger.
In mitigation, Steve Kettlewell, said: "He wasn't intent on doing harm to others. He was intent on doing harm to himself."
He was granted unconditional bail and his case was adjourned until January 25 for the preparation of reports
