OPPORTUNITIES for people to recycle their rubbish in the Hambleton district of North Yorkshire are increasing.
Four new recycling centres have been set up, taking the total across the district - in towns, villages and schools - to 121.
They have been placed at the Jolly Farmers' Inn at Dalton, the Dog and Gun at Carlton Miniott, the Tim Swales Garage at Osmotherley, and by the cemetery in Husthwaite.
Banks for paper as well as cans, tins, foil, aerosols and glass are included.
Any other village wishing to establish a recycling centre is asked to contact recycling officer Jenny Lowes on (01609) 767305.
