A NORTH-EAST university will host an open day on tourism and travel.
Sunderland University will hold the event, giving advice on courses available, at the Industry Centre, on Sunderland Enterprise Park West (off Wessington Way), from 10.30am to 3.30pm on Monday.
Experts on hand will be travel writer and BBC radio presenter Alan Wright, and Michael Lomotey, from Tourism Concern.
The university offers the widest range of travel and tourism courses in the region.
All courses offer work experience opportunities and overseas field classes.
They include degrees in tourism management, development and enterprise, and a foundation degree in travel and tourism with the City of Sunderland College.
The day is free and lunch is included, but spaces must be booked on 0191-515 3593
