ORGANISERS of a criminal justice roadshow yesterday described it as a huge success.
The open day at the Dolphin Centre, in Darlington, organised by County Durham and Darlington Criminal Justice Board, featured 15 organisations including Durham Constabulary, Victim Support, County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service and the Council for Racial Equality.
Children from across the county got to meet two of Durham Constabulary's police dogs, Jet and Ben.
Board spokeswoman Carina Carey said: "This event was about going out to the communities we serve and letting them have their say.
"It went really well. Everyone enjoyed themselves and it was fantastic to see all the agencies from Darlington working side by side.
"We got a lot of positive feedback."
