A FREE training course is available to help people cope with the effects of alcohol or drugs.
Making Sense Of It - Drugs, Alcohol and Health is being co-ordinated by Drugs North-East, Open College Network and the County Durham Drug and Alcohol Action Team. (Daat).
Sarah Little, Daat coordinator said: "The course is designed for people who have an interest in drug misuse and the impact it has upon health.
"It will be held over a ten-week period, covering topics such as the attitudes of young people towards drugs and alcohol, a look at the various drugs and the effects, the law and the impact on our health.
"Priority will be given to anyone who is living with or has lived with someone who has or had difficulties with drugs or alcohol."
