PANTOMIME stars brought the sounds and feels of the theatre to a group of visually-impaired youngsters.
Steve Arnott, who plays Hook, and Leslie Mackin, who plays Mrs Darling, in the tale of Peter Pan, at Darlington Civic Theatre, met the children before a show on Saturday.
The stars talked through their roles in the pantomime so the children could recognise their characters during the performance.
The youngsters also felt the different costumes used in the show so they could associate them with the various roles.
Sue Wilson, acting marketing manager, said: "We are delighted that the cast have joined us to help make the pantomine memorable for the children.
"The chance to meet them before the show really brings the magic of Peter Pan to life."
The pantomime is headed by comedy stars Cannon and Ball, who star as pirates Smee and Yoo.
It also features boyband member Lee Brennan of 911, who plays Peter Pan.
The show runs until Sunday, with evening and matinee performances.
