THE North-East's largest law firm is expanding its education group with the appointment of ROWAN FERGUSON.
She will join Dickinson Dees as head of education, leading a team of lawyers working for education clients throughout the UK.
She will initially advise the firm's existing clients, which include the universities of Durham and Northumbria, and further education colleges and schools.
She will also be developing her role, working alongside Dickinson Dees partners Robin Bloom and Sean Nicolson, to expand the team's education client-base.
In her previous role, Ms Ferguson was a specialist in education law at a major national law firm.
Mr Nicolson said: "Rowan is a leading education lawyer, and her expertise and extensive knowledge of the education market will make her a great asset to the team here."
