SHAMANI COVERDALE has been appointed to the new role of business relationship manager. With seven years' experience in marketing and business, she will be working closely with both organisations.
She said: "The role of universities within the North-East is changing, they are more outward facing and keen to collaborate with entrepreneurial individuals and organisations.
"The partnership between Knowledge House and Business Link Tyne and Wear will help us to communicate the latest developments, resources and the advantages that university collaboration can bring, to as wide an audience as possible."
Knowledge House promotes innovation and knowledge transfer contracts through which companies can work with experts from the region's universities to develop their people, processes and products.
As well as promoting knowledge transfer contracts through Business Link, Ms Coverdale will ensure that Knowledge House clients benefit from easier access to the wider business support network.
