A PERFORMER nicknamed the Bolton Bullfrog will be appearing in a North Yorkshire village hall later this month.
Singer and actor Bernard Wrigley will perform songs and tell stories in Dalton, near Richmond, next Friday.
Wrigley, who began his career singing in folk clubs, has appeared on Radio One and in several Alan Bennett films, including Day Out, Afternoon Off and Me and I'm Afraid of Virginia Woolf.
His career has included appearances in Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Victoria Wood's Christmas Special, Last of the Summer Wine, Coogan's Run and Peter Kay's Phoenix Nights.
His theatre work has included Waiting for Godot, alongside well-known comedian and poet Mike Harding.
