MORE than 50 bags of clothes have been donated for the victims of the Asian tsunami disaster in a collection made by Richmond Town Council.
The Mayor of Richmond, Councillor Russell Lord, said the appeal had been a huge success.
"Yet again it's a case of when Richmond is asked, Richmond delivers," said Coun Lord.
"There are collection pots for money in pubs and shops across the town.
"And the success of the appeal for clothes has been overwhelming."
