A TEESDALE poet has organised a concert in aid of tsunami victims.
Performance poet David Platstone has been putting together an evening of music and poetry at New College, Durham.
Mr Platstone will perform himself, and the evening will also feature a number of local musicians including singer-songwriter Dave Kidd, vocalist Susannah Roberts and Uilleann Pipe player Michael Mullen.
The concert is next Thursday at 8pm, in the main building of the New College on the Framwellgate Moor Campus.
Admission is £3, payable on the door, and all money, including profits from the sale of books and CDs, will be donated to the tsunami appeal.
