Darlington head to Bradford and Bingley in good spirits and looking for revenge after an early-season loss.
The National League Three North side beat local rivals Mowden Park 28-22 last week and go into the match with just one injury concern. Prop Paul Scott has a tricep problem and will be given a late fitness test.
"In the first fixture (against Bradford) they beat us quite convincingly," said player coach Craig Lee. "We got off to quite a decent start, we were 12-up, but they have some big South African players - number 8 and two props - who played in the Premiership last year for Rotherham and they came into their own really.
"But we played quite well last week and, to be fair, I think the scoreline flattered Mowden. We have to be full of confidence and take heart because when we played against Bradford the first time we weren't at full strength. Hopefully, we can take that confidence into the game."
Lee said Scott would be a loss if he had to miss out but he was confident his replacement would not let the side down.
"He has had some good performances so he will be a loss," said Lee. "But if he is not in we will bring Paul Shepherd up and most likely start with Joe Oselton."
Lee said for Darlington to succeed they will have to cut out the number of costly turnovers.
"The problem we had last week and the problem we have had all year really is that when we spill the ball it's our downfall because the opposition is running in tries," he said.
"First and foremost we have to stop spilling the ball through contact or giving it away and secondly we have to stop them from scoring."
Mowden Park are looking for a reversal of fortunes after crashing to defeat in their last three games.
Mowden entertain Blaydon in a North-East derby which pitches the eighth-placed hosts against their rivals, who are two places worse off in League Three (North).
Despite Mowden's form - they have gone four without a win and lost bragging rights to their hometown rivals last week - their home record is relatively strong, with five wins from eight matches.
Mowden Park have had problems scoring this season and only three sides in the division have scored fewer points than them. However, one of those is Blaydon, who are the lowest scorers in the division with just 225 points.
Blaydon are in their best form of the season and have put together a four-match winning run after Saturday's excellent home success over Fylde. Away from home they have managed just two wins in seven matches.
This is the first meeting between the two sides this season after the scheduled November fixture was postponed.
