YOUNGSTERS living in isolated east Durham communities will soon be able to get out and about more easily.
Access to a wide range of activities for 11 to 16-year-olds will now be available thanks to a donation by the Liveability Fund of £30,000 for a new wheelchair accessible minibus for the District of Easington's Youth Forum.
The new vehicle, which will be presented to the club on Monday, will help to provide reliable transport for young people to access a wide range of forum activities.
The national Liveability Fund aims to improve the environment and quality of life.
