A TEESSIDE teenager has been given a conditional offer to study law at Cambridge.
Amy Kirkbride, an 18-year-old student at Stockton Sixth Form College, has been offered a place to study law at St Catherine's College if she gets straight As in three A-level subjects, including law. She is studying law, history, German and Spanish at A-level, and critical thinking at AS-level.
Martin Clinton, the college principal, says he is "very pleased indeed" that Amy has been offered a place. He said: "The subject of law is hugely popular at Stockton Sixth, and numbers of new students wanting to go down the legal road in their careers is growing all the time."
