A TOWN centre supermarket is offering small businesses a chance to put their goods on the shelves of a multi-national store.
Asda in Spennymoor wants local enterprises to suggest products they believe shoppers would like to be able to buy as part of their weekly shopping trip.
Products could include food that is made, reared or grown in the area and sold as a local delicacy.
Products must have a barcode and meet minimum technical and food safety standards and suppliers must have a fax machine to receive orders.
Anyone interested can contact the store, on (01388) 420249, with product details and samples. Store manager Neil Tynemouth and Asda's sourcing team will select which specialities to sell in the shop.
