FREE admission is being offered to the North-East's Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust site on Sunday and Monday.
The trust's reserve, in Washington, Wearside, will waive its usual charges from 9.30am to 4.30pm on both days as part of its celebrations for World Wetlands Day.
Young visitors can join in with craft activities on both afternoons and all visitors are invited to follow the site's new biodiversity trail.
Details are available from www.wwt.org.uk/visit/washington, or on 0191-416 5454.
