A NORTH-EAST college has been named one of the country's top centres for adult learning.
The Adult Learning Inspectorate praised Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College, in Darlington, putting it in the top 17 per cent of centres inspected.
The college was given an outstanding rating in five areas - leadership and management; mathematics and ICT; business; humanities; visual performing arts and media.
Darlington training company BL Hairdressing was also praised.
