A TINY owl has gained a whole class full of new friends after he was found dazed and confused in the middle of the road.
Pupils from Wolsingham School and Community College have taken the little creature under their wing while he recovers.
Pablo was discovered by art teacher Rob Clipsham after he spotted him on his way to work from Richmond. He said: "He offered no resistance when I went to pick him up so I brought him to school to give to one of our year Ten pupils, Nicola Rowley, whose sister Joanne and parents run an animal sanctuary in Stanhope.''
Mr Clipsham hopes to release Pablo back into the wild in North Yorkshire once he has recovered.
