PEOPLE on Hartlepool's Headland are being asked to attend another consultation event to help shape the creation of a town square.
More detailed designs for the first phase of the project have now been prepared by the designers Ferguson McIlveen.
They will be on display on Tuesday, in the Croft Room of the Borough Hall on the Headland, between 2pm and 7pm.
On display will be more designs for the creation of a formal square in front of the Borough Hall and a history garden. There are also plans for the demolition of the bus turning area at the bottom of Middlegate and replacing it with a shelter and information display.
People will also be able to examine examples of some of the building materials which it is proposed will be used.
The design consultants and staff from Hartlepool Borough Council will be on hand to answer questions.
Feedback from the consultation will be put before a joint meeting of the North Hartlepool Partnership Board and Mayor Stuart Drummond.
The town square project is spearheaded by the North Hartlepool Partnership and Hartlepool Borough Council. The North Hartlepool Partnership is using money from regional development agency One NorthEast to revitalise the Headland.
