Pupils on Teesside have been given lessons on how to stay healthy, safe and alert.
St Gerard's RC Primary School, in Hemlington, near Middlesbrough, and Middlesbrough Primary Care Trust school nurse Vivian Bradley organised a healthy living day for 151 pupils.
Issues included healthy snacks to put in a lunch box, dental hygiene and crossing roads safely.
Youngsters were encouraged to try exotic fruit and vegetables.
Headteacher Eileen Shovlin said: "It was really enjoyable for the children.''
Mrs Shovlin said healthy living formed part of the school curriculum and encouraged children to make choices.
