CHILDREN will be able to learn more about wildlife and the environment during half-term.
The Durham Wildlife Trust will be running a variety of programmes at its visitor centres.
Litterbugs, which looks at what can be recycled from the average lunch box, will be held at Low Barnes on Sunday, February 6, and at Rainton Meadows on February 9 and 16.
Feed the Birds, which will identify birds needing feeding in winter, will take place on Thursday, February 10, at Low Barns and on February 8 and 15, at Rainton Meadows.
Homes for Birds, a lesson in making bird boxes, will be held on Wednesday, February 9 at Low Barns and on February 10 and 17, at Rainton Meadows.
