WORK on a £90,000 sewer repair scheme will start on Monday.
A section of Harrogate's Parliament Street will be closed for three weeks so contractors can reline the sewers from outside Bettys Cafe Tea Rooms to the junction with Oxford Street and from Oxford Street to King's Road.
Project manager Steve Cooper said: "This should help to ensure, in future, properties along Parliament Street will not be vulnerable to flooding after downpours such as those we experienced last summer."
