FATHERS have been working with their sons to create works of art for an exhibition.
They used their own lives, memories and favourite things as the inspiration for the show at the Yorkshire Museum, in York.
Each pair was invited to record their own experiences by working with writer James Nash, and then took away a diary and camera to record words and images.
They returned with objects to create 3-D boxes, combining them with paints, fabrics and photography.
The pairs worked on the exhibition over a six-week period as part of York Art Gallery's Territories project, which aims to reach out to people who are not traditional visitors to the gallery.
The assistant curator for arts learning with the York Museums Trust, Griselda Goldsborough, said: "All the dads and lads had a great time working together on this project."
The exhibition runs until Sunday.
