PLANS to improve a village's water quality will go on display tomorrow.
Yorkshire Water will be holding a drop-in session at Bainbridge Village Hall, Wensleydale, from 5pm until 7pm.
The company hopes to improve the quality of water by cleaning, re-lining or replacing water mains that have deteriorated through age.
Yorkshire Water project manager Dean Williamson said: "I would urge as many people as possible to come to the drop-in to find out what we are going to do, how we are going to do it and the benefits it will deliver for them.
"Not only will they be able to view the plans, but they will have the chance to ask members of the project team about the work.
"The very nature of the scheme means that we will often need to work in local roads so traffic management may sometimes be required for the safety of everyone concerned.
"However, we will do all we can to minimise any inconvenience."
Work on the scheme is due to begin next month
