KITE-flying lessons are on the timetable during half-term for schoolchildren.
An exhibition of handiwork by kite-maker Kelvin Woods is to be unveiled at Redcar's Kirkleatham Museum.
The handyman has also arranged kite-making and flying school sessions.
The exhibition will feature 40 kites and opens on Sunday, February 13.
The first workshop by Mr Woods, on Tuesday, February 15, shows how to make and fly a sled kite. Youngsters are asked to bring a large bin bag.
On Wednesday, February 16, there are craft sessions to make stretchy clowns.
Mr Woods, from Brotton, is back on Thursday, February 17, to show how to make mini-kites in the shape of birds and butterflies.
Another craft session on Friday, February 18, shows how to make a tumbling acrobat puppet.
All workshops are free and no booking is required. They run from 10am to noon and from 1pm to 4pm, with activities taking up to an hour.
All children must be accompanied by an adult and materials are provided.
