A FAST-growing IT solutions company is continuing its expansion plans, as it aims to become a national player.
Technology Services Group Ltd (TSG), based on the Gosforth Business Park, Newcastle, has bought Leeds IT firm Logical Solutions, for an undisclosed sum.
TSG was set up in October 2003 by Graham Wylie, co-founder of North-East software house, Sage.
It has set out on an aggressive purchasing strategy to become a serious operator in the IT services market.
Logical Solutions, its tenth acquisition, has been operating for 22 years. The IT hardware, software and infrastructure business has an established client base of 300 small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs).
Mark Ambler regional managing director, TSG North, said: "We'll be offering additional hardware and infrastructure expertise to all Logical Solutions customers."
Logical is one of the larger Sage Solution Centres in the UK, and won MMS Business Partner of the Year at the Sage Visions 2004 conference.
